Bethany

My sister Bethany came out for a visit from Arizona.  It was so nice to have her come, her husband Dallas couldn't make it and we missed him but it was good to have girl time.

I love going to L.A. to visit, it is a really awesome city.  We headed out bright and early to go to Little Tokyo.

All of the shops here were amazing.  I love Totoro and there was a lot of him to see.  I have great memories as a kid watching the movie My Neighbor Totoro.

We could not leave Little Tokyo without getting our favorite Japanese candy, Hi-Chew.

Pics of the city

Michael Levine $2.50 a pound fabric scrap store.  This is a cool place, you just have to be in the mood to dig!!!

It was pretty rainy while she was here but the weather permitted us to visit the beach.  We were walking around Laguna Beach and came across this poem.

In this fleeting moment
What extravagant respire
As Promethean sunsets
Blossom, blaze and secede
From splendor to mystery.

In this fleeting moment
What extravagant respite
As booming surf speaks its
Mystical passage across
 The undreamed depths.

It was so fun to have Beth come for a visit.
We miss them and are looking forward to our next visit.
